Come explore Boiling Springs in Cumberland County, PA picturesque village founded in 1845. The Appalachian Trail and beautiful lake surround the town. We will photograph Boiling Springs highlighted by a local craft fair, nearby villages with interesting history, architecture, rolling farmland and local personalities. We will explore the subtleties of photographing people and the land, and learn the art of photographing with natural light while learning to see with the camera. We will also learn how to put images together to tell a story. Slide shows, group and individual critiques will be held. Small class size, friendly atmosphere! This workshop is for the photographer who is comfortable with basic camera techniques and is ready to discover a variety of subject matter.
Washington DC-based Nancy Libson is a documentary photographer who has exhibited and taught workshops nationally and internationally. Collections inculde the Library of Congress. Exhibits include Harvard’s Fogg Art Museum in Cambridge,MA, and Galerie St. Benezet in Avignon, France. Nancy has photographed for National Geographic Traveler and studied at the Maine Photographic Workshops.
